Ferry Café, nestled on the picturesque Esplanade in Fleetwood, is a beloved gem for fish and chip enthusiasts. Diners rave about its hearty breakfasts, notably highlighted by a "big fry up" that is said to be one of the best in Lancashire. With generous portions and a value-driven menu, customer reviews reflect a consistent theme of satisfaction. The café's atmosphere exudes warmth and charm, with friendly staff who contribute to a welcoming environment. One patron emphasized the joy of enjoying fresh, delicious fish accompanied by creamy mushy peas—an experience that rivals the best seaside dining. The all-day breakfast, alongside notable offerings like the delicious apple pie and assorted cakes, enhances its appeal. Many visitors appreciate the café’s traditional seaside vibe, with a few noting its slightly "tatty" ambiance, yet they agree that the delightful and reasonably priced food far outweighs any minor imperfections. Whether it's enjoying a classic fish and chips or a comforting lasagne, patrons underline the café's commitment to quality. Overall, Ferry Café manages to blend culinary satisfaction with stunning views, making it a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike.

A lovely seaside cafe. A bit tatty and dark but good value food and service with a smile never go out of fashion. My mum and I were delighted with our visit. Thank you!

To say this is my most favourite chippy is an understatement. We go to others which are very good but the ferry chippy is just amazing. Our last visit took our own barms and got their 2 fish and chips with 2 side for 12. 12 unbelievable not massive but not small either and more than enough for a lunch and they make an amazing chip barm (no detriment to the ferry chippy barms sure they are great just we get some from a local bakers occasionally). We also go in winter where you can get a bag of red hot chips and a have a walk for a few quid. There are no chips which will taste better than those had this way. I occasionally have to get a second portion depends on how many i share or get nicked off me. 6 starts for me.

A brilliant business, friendly staff, great foods, drinks. All round perfect. The Best omelette I have ever had, proper produce, full of flavour.

There's nowt better fish than at the Ferry Cafe. Mushy peas and chips (they taste so creamy) are tops too, as well as the all day breakfast. Lovely staff, always friendly and they look like they're a real family. Really hard working folk. There's a great atmosphere. We come here most weekends as its delicious and fabulous value. The view is a fantastic addition. Thanks for being awesome lovely Ferry Cafe.

Food is always incredible, quick and efficient staff who are a pleasure to deal with. On this occasion me and my partner had a full English breakfast, normally we get a takeaway chippy or ice cream. Not to mention the views are stunning inside. The price to portion ratio is amazing. Really can’t recommend enough.

Listen to me when I tell you this... this is THE BEST fish and chips you will get. I only have a pic of chips (silly me) which we got to share because we were feeling a bit cheeky at lunchtime and I honestly could’ve eaten the entire large portion myself. Their fish is total perfection... that crisp golden batter is a thing of my dreams. Curry sauce - spot on. Gravy - stunning. Peas - delish. There’s a reason this place is busy every time I go. Because it’s AMAZING

Just popped in for lunch with my family and the cod was fantastic the chips were top notch and the mushy peas were the best I've had. Make a decent cup of tea too. I forgot to say the tartare sauce needs to be served by the bucket load .
